The winning dish here is their Hainanese steam chicken, it is moist and tender. If they can cut their chicken slightly bigger each piece would be great. The Rice here is fluffy and aromatic which leaves you wanting more.

Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice comes in two sizes: small ($3.50), and large ($4.50).

I ordered a small portion of Hainanese chicken rice to try out. On the first bite, the rice was smooth, oily in a good way and has a nice fragrance to it.

The chicken was tender and moist with a little gelatinase to it. So texture and flavour were good but it would have been great if they can cut their meat slightly wider. That way we can taste more meat in our mouths in one bite. Otherwise, the rice sort of overpowers the chicken.

The Chilli here is slightly on the watery side with mild spice. I prefer my chilli with more past, thicker consistency and spicier.
