Best Sarawak Laksa In Singapore [2023]

Looking for the best Sarawak Laksa in Singapore? As Sarawakian, I am quite picky with my Sarawak Laksa.

A typical bowl of Sarawak laksa contains thick rice vermicelli, beansprouts, prawns, chicken breast, egg, calamansi, coriander, chilli paste and the highlight of the dish is the broth. The taste of Sarawak laksa broth has a fine balance of aromatic herbs and spices with a subtle hint of sourish and spicy notes.

After visiting many Sarawak Laksa shop in Singapore, I have concluded that there is only a few Sarawak Laksa that matches my taste bud.

Sarawak Delicacy Laksa & Kolo Mee is one of Singapore’s most popular places for Sarawak Food. A typical waiting time of 45minutes and finish usually by 12.30 pm on the weekend based on my experience.

The Sarawak Laksa broth taste and ingredients used were great except for the thin rice vermicelli.

Gourmet Sarawak Laksa is located at Changi Airport Terminal 4. Not a place I thought I would find one of the best Sarawak Laksa in Singapore but here we are writing about it.

The ingredients used here are all authentic and the best part is, it tastes like home. Shredded egg and chicken breast, thick vermicelli noodles, fresh prawn and local Sarawak coriander. The broth here is slightly towards the spicier side which I love.

Other than Sarawak Laksa, they have other local Sarawakian cuisine as well such as Kolo Mee, Curry Chicken rice and Hainanese Chicken Rice. For those of you Sarawakian craving your local drink, they have it here as well such as 3-layer tea, and sundrops.
