Chee Cheong Fun Club Review

Verdict

Chee Cheong Fun Club serves a variety of sauce that goes along with their Chee Cheong Fun. The curry sauce version has a good medium body broth, a balance of coconut and spice combination.

They do serve other sauces such as soy sauce, red sweet sauce, chili sauce, black sauce (slightly salty), and just plain sesame seed.

Things I like

  • Taste and consistency of curry broth. Balance of coconut and spice combination. Medium body texture broth.
  • Flat rice noodle thickness is just right. Not too thin or thick. Smooth and silky texture.

Nitpicking

  • Use a proper reusable bowl and cutlery instead of a nonreusable one.

Chee Cheong Fun Club Has a variety of sauces available to go along with their chee chong fun.

Their standard sauce would be their soy sauce, red sweet sauce, chili sauce, black sauce (slightly salty) and just plain sesame seed.

As a spice lover, their chili was balanced between spiciness and sourness. It also has a medium to light consistency.

As I normally eat my chee chong fun in curry sauce, I was happy to see that they sell their famous Kuala Lumpur curry chee cheong fun ($4).

Their curry broth has a good medium-body texture to it. It also has a well-balanced combination of spice and coconut flavor.

The flat rice noodle thickness is just right, not too thick nor too thin. It also has a smooth and silky texture to it.
