Bee’s Knees At The Garage Review
Verdict
Bee’s Knees At The Garage is situated in Singapore’s UNESCO World Heritage Botanic Garden. It’s a great area to go walk in nature and have breakfast at the cafe. Bee’s Knees serves your typical cafe breakfast such as croissant, egg benny, and açai bowl. The food here overall has a good balance of flavour and appearance. The coffee here is smooth and creamy. It is also a pet-friendly cafe in its outdoor seating area.
Things I like
- Scenic view of the garden
- Kurobuta Ham Bagel Eggs Benny
- Smooth and creamy coffee
Nitpicking
- Lack of control when someone’s pet makes too much noise. There was a dog that kept on barking the whole hour I was there.
Bee’s Knees Food & Price

To start our morning, we order their Gryphon Earl Grey Lavender W Strawberry Tea and a latte $10 and a Cafe latte $7. The tea was refreshing and had a balanced taste of sweetness, bitterness and sourness to it. Coffee beans here were fresh, milk was creamy and smooth.

Their croissant $7 here was crispy outside and fluffy inside. It would be great if it was more aromatic maybe more butter inside would elevate the flavour of the plain croissant.

Bee’s Knee’s Kurobuta Ham Bagel Eggs Benny $17 was the star for our breakfast. The bagel was well toasted, ham had a rich umami flavour and the egg was cooked to perfection.

Lastly, we order their Acai Sorbet $13 as the weather was hot. The fruits were fresh and the blueberry sorbet was just what we needed to cool down.
Bee’s Knees Service
Do expect a long queue if you are coming here on the weekend. We waited 40 minutes to be seated. The good thing is you can walk around the scenic botanic garden while waiting for your table. Do make your reservation to avoid any disappointment.
The service here was friendly and fast. We got our food within 10 minute-ish of ordering.
