Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee Review
Verdict
Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee was generous with its ingredients. The combination of flavors and the consistency of the broth would leave you craving for another bowl. Do expect to wait an hour during peak lunchtime. I heard the queue simmers down after 2 pm.

Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee Entrance
Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee usually has a long queue forming with a waiting time of up to an hour. The restaurant itself is clean and cooling so the wait was a breeze. Their walls are all individual designs with many art pieces hanging around.
Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee Food & Price

Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee has two different sizes small ($6) and large ($8). You can mix and match the type of noodle from flat yellow noodles, round yellow noodles, flat rice noodles, and rice vermicelli.
Their lor mee comes with hard-boiled eggs, bean sprouts, chopped red chilies, sambal chili and Chinese parsley, pork belly, chicken and top with vinegar. I ordered the large bowl as I waited too long to eat the small one. To my surprise, I did not feel too greasy even towards my last bite. The lor mee was a balance of sweet, salty, spicy and bitterness which is by no means easy to accomplish. I am not too sure if is because of the huge amount of order that the lor mee was not served hot but it felt like lukewarm.
Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee Service
The whole waiting time from the queue to sitting down and eat took about an hour fifteen minutes. With their success in old airport road itself and the amount of exposure given from Ryan from “Food King” it is to be expected. If you do not want to queue so long, it is suggested that you can come after 2 pm.
