Shake Shack Review
Shake Shack is hands down my favourite smash beef burger of all time. Every time I take a bite of their Double Shackburger, flavours start bursting everywhere in my mouth and my head turns to a side. For non-beef eaters, you can try their vegetarian Shroom Burger. It has a crispy mushroom layer and oozing with melted cheese. For drinks, I like their fifty/fifty lemonade, vanilla shake, and their love wild IPA beer.
Things I like
- Double Shackburger – Beef bursting with intense umami flavour. Beef is smashed till crisped which adds another dimension to the texture.
- Shroom Burger – Great crispy mushroom and oozing cheese which will leave you wanting more.
- Milkshake here has the right consistency and the right amount of sweetness.
- Love Wild IPA beer – Full body, mild sweetness, and bitterness
Shake Shack Food & Price
Shake shack has rapidly expended in Singapore which makes it convenient for you to eat. I have personally been here quite a number of times and tried quite a few of their item.
First and for me the best burger in town is their Double ShackBurger ($13.40). Just thinking about it makes me want to go and grab another now. The beef patty is smash which give a good crust and flavours. The cheese is properly melted and generous. The star here is their Shake Shack special sauce which is so addictive. So many flavours from the umami smashed beef patty to the sweet/spicy/sour special Shacksauce.
Shake Shack Shroom Burger ($11.50) is their vegetarian option. As someone who love meat, this shroom burger is also crazy good. Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted Monterey Jack, Tilsiter and Colby cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato. It also has that special Shacksauce that makes it so delicious.
Their chunky crinkle cut cheese fries ($5.90) is a good add on to the meal if you can stomach so much food. I like how crispy and well-salted the fries are. As the fries are a little chunky, you can get full pretty fast here.
This is my favourite combo, the Love Wild IPA 12 oz Beer ($9.50) and the Double Shackburger. It is a tropical full-body IPA beer that you can find in a lot of places is one of my favourite IPA Beer.
Their Fifty/Fifty Lemonade ($5.30) is also a great option for non alcoholic drinks here at Shake Shack. It is basically 50% lemonade and 50% Ice tea which makes it balance between sweetness and sourness.
Another great option is their Vanilla Shakes ($7.30). The shakes here has great medium thick consistency and just the right sweetness level.
Shake Shack Service
No-fuss service here. Place your order via their ipads and collect your food when your buzzer rings. Staff here are generally friendly during my visits.
