Verdict
Kedai Makan Muhajirin provides a variety of Malay cuisine. Being know for serving the most affordable nasi lemak in Singapore and it taste great for the price. Sambal was sweet and spicy, though the rice was on the stickier side. Mee rebus taste was on point with just the right gravy consistency.

Kedai Makan Muhajirin is famously known in Singapore for serving their 1 dollar nasi lemak. It comes with coconut rice, sambal, anchovies, nuts, egg and cucumber.
The sambal was sweet and spicy at the same time. Anchovies and nuts were fresh and crispy. We would have preferred the rice to be cooked with slightly lesser water so that the rice can have a better texture. Overall, the meal was definitely worth the affordable price.
Their mee rebus ($2.50) comes with egg, green chilies, fried tofu, bean sprouts, parsley and topped with lime. It was a sweet yet savory plate of noodles. I also like the fact that the gravy was served hot which makes it feel very fresh.
Kedai Makan Muhajirin Service
Though there was a queue, the food serving was quick. Manage to get our order in under 10 minutes. We went there early in the morning around 7 am and saw many people come and go. Some even order 10 packets of nasi lemak. So do go there early if as they might be sold out later on in the day.
