Habitat Coffee Review
Verdict
Habitat Coffee is a minimalist modern-type cafe at Lavender. The coffee here is fresh, milk is smooth and creamy. Their grilled cheese pull pork will melt in your mouth. Nicely toasted bread with perfectly cook benny on top with freshly cut avocado.
Things I like
- Pull pork and cheese melts in your mouth.
- Egg benny was cooked to perfection.
- A great cup of coffee. Smooth, rich, and creamy.
Nitpicking
- Soundproofing of the restaurant. The noise was noticeably loud in the cafe.
Habitat Coffee Food & Price

Habitat Coffee serves a great latte $5. The beans were fresh so it was not bitter, milk was smooth and creamy.

Their Avocado Benedict ($18) egg was cooked to perfection. Buns were properly toasted and avocado was freshly cut.
*I did a quick check on the website, they seem to remove the avocado Benedict just to let you know in advance.

My favourite was their grilled cheese roast sandwich $15. The cheese was oozing out and the pulled pork was so tender it melts in your mouth. The fries were thin and crispy. Almost felt like they double fry it which is always a plus point.
Habitat Coffee had a variety of food we wanted to try but we were already full. Their poutine fries $10, Chilli Crab Mantou $13, and Tiger Prawn Aglio Olio $19 looks nice.
Habitat Coffee Service
The cafe was a full house on a weekend lunchtime. Turnover was fast, we waited 10 minutes to be seated. The servers here were friendly and attentive.
I did notice that the cafe has an echo issue cause of the way they construct their design. Noice was a tad bit too noisy for us.
