Bedrock Origin Review
Bedrock Origin Sentosa is the perfect spot for a cozy and intimate dining experience, especially if you’re craving some top-notch steak. The Bedrock Pepper Steak and the Applewood Fire Grill Steak were both outstanding, with the Wagyu beef and grass-fed ribeye offering a superb combination of flavors. I also couldn’t get enough of their Mac and Cheese, which was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of cheesy goodness. To top it off, the desserts were the perfect end to the meal, with a great balance of flavors that left me feeling satisfied but not overly full.
Things I like
- The vibes of the restaurant are intimate and cozy. Good to bring your partner here for date night.
- The steak was well-charred, cooked to perfection, and had the perfect thickness
- Out-of-the-world mac and cheese with the right amount of cheesy goodness
- Dessert was perfectly balanced in flavor profile from the caramel to the lava cake.

The entrance of the Bedrock Origin had this cool-looking storage area where they showcased the aged steak and a huge selection of wines.
Bedrock Origin Food & Price
The bread reminds me of Indian nan bread.
Nothing too fancy about it but I like the fact they gave whole cooked garlic with olive oil.
No steak is complete without having some grilled asparagus ($18).
It comes accompanied by some almonds and pesto sauce around it.
A good twist but I normally prefer mine with a hint of salt, charred mark, and olive oil drizzle.
The Bedrock Mac N Cheese ($22) was seriously good.
Came in a cast iron pan piping hot with bursting aromas as it comes near your table.
Crispy cheese layer outside, cheesy goodness inside with perfectly cooked pasta. A simple dish done right here.
Coming to the highlight meal of the night, the steaks!
As we had the one-for-one deal from the Tripleplus membership, we order one Applewood fire ribeye 350g ($89) which is an Australian grass-fed steak.
The steak was good to a perfect medium, with just the right balance of fats and meat and that smokey flavor from the applewood.
Paired together with the Bedrock Pepper Steak 300g ($118) which is Bedrock Origin’s signature wagyu ribeye steak.
Lots of umami flavor from the fats which is good for sharing and mixing with the applewood steak to balance the richness of the fat flavor and the smoky meat flavor.
The sauce on the side was their black peppercorn sauce, not too bad but I prefer my steak without any sauce.
Their Dynamite Bomb Alaska ($22) not only looks cool with the fire presentation but also tastes great.
It was filled with white chocolate raspberry ice cream, butter cookies, chocolate pearls, meringue, and rum.
Complimentary on the house for celebrating our anniversary here was their Lava cake ($14).
A simple dish done right, the salted caramel popcorn on top of the lava cake paired together with the affogato ice cream goes perfectly together.
Bedrock Origin Service
They were definitely short of staff that night but the staff on duty was still very attentive and prompt so really great job.
With small chatter here and there with the staff combined with the overall atmosphere of the intimate and cozy dining experience, I just felt warm and fuzzy inside.
